About this race
The City Triathlon Hanau is a short-distance event in Hanau, featuring a 550-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a five-kilometer run. The field is limited to 360 individual starters and 24 relay teams, filling it completely. This is the third edition of the race.
The distance is considerably shorter than the Frankfurt Ironman, making it a suitable option for beginners seeking the complete swim-bike-run format without an extended time commitment. Seasoned athletes also utilize it towards the end of their season. The participant list extends beyond the typical triathlon competitors, including Hanau mayor Claus Kaminsky.
