On race day, Tübingen closes streets and squares to cars for the Mey Generalbau Triathlon Tübingen, a July triathlon in Baden-Württemberg. The program offers beginners and faster athletes several options: a supersprint of 300 m swimming, 11 km cycling, and 3.5 km running; a sprint of 750 m, 22 km, and 5.4 km; and a short distance of 1.5 km, 43 km, and 9.5 km.
