USee Run Düsseldorf

USee Run Düsseldorf is a late-summer running event at Unterbacher See, a lake on the eastern side of Düsseldorf. Participants can choose a 10 km race or a 5.8 km fun run, and walkers have a 5.8 km Nordic Walking option. The start and finish are at Strandbad Süd, placing the event by the lakeside beach area rather than in the city center. The route follows paths around the lake and through the Ellerforst, featuring shaded forest sections and green surroundings. The shorter run begins in separate age-group waves, Nordic walkers start after them, and the 10 km field commences later in the morning. All participants must attend a briefing before racing. Finishers receive medals and online certificates, with trophies awarded to the top three men and women in each distance. SwimRun Urban Challenge organizes the event, with Florian Skiba listed as organizer.
