Willicher Triathlon 2026

The Willicher Triathlon places the swim-bike-run format in the center of Willich, a town in North Rhine-Westphalia near Düsseldorf. Organized by TV Schiefbahn 1899, this late-summer triathlon will soon hold its 29th edition, with registration opening in March. The event caters to various participants, including regular age-group racers, juniors, youth competitors, relay teams, and first-time triathletes. The main sprint race covers a 0.5 km swim, 20 km bike ride, and 5 km run, with approximately 430 spots available for the open age-group field. A different format is also offered: a 0.3 km swim, 33 km cycle, and 3 km run, with about 110 places in the open field. Stadtwerke Willich is the title sponsor, and the course through the town center provides a local, accessible atmosphere instead of a distant race venue.
