Benamaurel Bike & Night 2026

Benamaurel Bike & Night is a 40 km night mountain bike race held in Benamaurel, a municipality in Granada, Spain, approximately 15 km from Baza. Participants begin at 21:00, with the race designed for riding in darkness rather than adapting a daytime route. Benamaurel is situated in the Altiplano de Granada, within the Granada Geopark, between the Baza and Huéscar regions. This event marks its thirteenth edition, following earlier years as a non-competitive cyclotourist gathering. The Benamaurel City Council organizes it, with significant support from the local Benabike BTT cycling club. It is known as “the original nocturnal” because of its status as an early night-sport event in the province and Andalusia.
