Cross Pinar La Barrosa 2026

Cross Pinar La Barrosa is a 7.5 km cross-country race held in Chiclana de la Frontera, within the Pinar de la Barrosa peri-urban park. It is included in the local Popular Races Circuit, organized by Chiclana City Council’s Sports Delegation, and is officially recognized by the Andalusian Athletics Federation. The course winds through a protected pine-park area, also frequented by locals for leisure. Race day features school events alongside the main race, offering children’s categories from the youngest “pitufos” to cadets, with distances ranging from 200 meters to 3 km. The series has surpassed thirty editions, and awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers, with additional prizes for the leading local athletes.
