Enano Trail 2026

Enano Trail is a mountain race in Santa Cruz de La Palma, Spain, linked to the quinquennial Fiestas Lustrales de la Bajada de la Virgen. It offers the festival its own trail-running event, with two options: an 18 km race and a 7 km route. Fitters La Palma organizes the event, which resumed after a significant pause following a previous edition's cancellation during the pandemic. The routes traverse rural and cultural areas of the island, avoiding standard city streets. One race begins in Plaza de España, and the other starts at the Santuario de Las Nieves, also known as the Real Santuario de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves. Both conclude at Plaza de San Francisco, returning participants to Santa Cruz de La Palma. The race integrates local festival life with running, drawing its character from the Bajada de la Virgen and the municipality’s landmarks.
