About this race
Flecha Ibérica is a 24-hour long-distance cycling challenge where teams devise their own routes. Each team begins at a location they select and rides toward a common meeting point, with the planned route needing to cover at least 360 km. It is a randonneuring event, not a standard road race; the objective is to maintain forward motion for a full day and finish the approved distance as a group.
Teams typically consist of 3 to 5 cyclists from the same club, and a club may enter multiple teams. Riders from smaller clubs can combine if their club cannot field three members. The event is recognized by Audax Club Parisien as a Fleche Nationale, and completion contributes to the Randonneur 5000 award, establishing its position in the long-distance randonneuring hierarchy.
