La Cabrera 2026

La Cabrera by Lurbel is a trail race held in late October in Spain’s Sierra Norte, near Madrid. The primary distance covers approximately 49 km with 2,720 metres of elevation gain, placing it squarely in mountain-running terrain. The course follows natural trails through the hills north of the capital and is part of the Lurbel series. Participants completing the race receive 3 ITRA points, useful for runners gaining experience or seeking qualification for longer trail events.
