About this race
Vertical Quiri is a short uphill mountain race in Noves de Segre, Alt Urgell, run as part of the Cadí Circuit Fer. It is the second scoring race in the local mountain-running league. The main race begins in the morning with a simple objective: climb 4.5 km and gain 850 metres before reaching Sant Quiri.
The course ascends directly to the Sant Quiri hermitage, where runners finish with views over Urgellet and peaks such as Cadí, Pedraforca, Puigmal, and Montsent de Pallars. The day also includes an 8 AM walking event, a Petit Quiri race for children, and a post-race botifarrada with the awards ceremony, attracting runners, walkers, families, and local supporters.
