Aluekisat 2026

The Aluekisat Hannes Junior Games is a two-day junior track and field event in Kuopio, taking place at Väinölänniemi and put on by Kuopion Reipas. The schedule begins at 10:00 each day and includes age groups from under-9 boys and girls through to senior men and women, functioning as a comprehensive athletics meeting rather than a singular race. The track events include sprints such as 40m, 60m, 100m, and 200m, as well as 400m, 800m, and 1500m races. Hurdles are part of the program for multiple youth categories. The field events are also varied, featuring long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus, and javelin. Athletes from Kuopion Reipas are eligible to compete without paying an entry fee.
