Aluekisat 2026

Aluekisat is a regional track and field championship meeting held at Seinäjoki Central Stadium in western Finland, taking place in mid-July with events beginning in the early evening. It is part of the Western region championship calendar and the ÖID 2 series. Seinäjoen Seudun Urheilijat organizes the event within the Finnish Athletics Federation system. This meet is confined to the stadium, featuring sprints, middle distance races, hurdles, jumps, and throws. Men, women, under-17 boys, and under-17 girls compete in the 200m, 800m, and 400m hurdles. All groups also participate in discus and hammer throws. The men and under-17 boys include high jump and triple jump, while the women and under-17 girls add pole vault and long jump.
