About this race
The KOMIA Kyrkösjärvi Trail begins at an event center on the shore of Kyrkösjärvi lake in Seinäjoki, Finland. This new trail running event offers two distances: 13 km and 7 km. The starts are scheduled for 18:00, positioning the race as a summer-evening run rather than an all-day festival.
From the lakeside start, participants enter the terrain surrounding Kyrkösvuori and Jouppilanvuori. The event balances competitive and casual running: awards are given to the top three men and women, but participants can opt to run untimed. Bib pickup occurs before the start, awards are presented as runners finish, and the event center remains open into the evening.
