Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Each year, over 500 Metsä Group Seurakisat events take place across Finland, attracting more than 25,000 children and young people. This series offers a local athletics competition format for ages 5 to 15, supported by Metsä Group and the Finnish Athletics Federation. Metsä Group serves as the title partner and main partner for children's athletics. These events are not limited to elite athletes; they are accessible club competitions designed to encourage children to try athletics in a secure and positive environment. The format promotes participation in various sports rather than early specialization. Event days are also family-oriented, allowing parents to assist as officials while their children compete.
