Metsä Group Seurakisat 2026

Metsä Group Seurakisat is a relaxed athletics competition series organized with Metsä Group, the Finnish Athletics Federation’s partner, and Länsi-Uudenmaan Urheilijat. The meets take place during the club’s regular training sessions, allowing children to arrive and depart as they would for normal practice. Participation is open to all, and no athletics license is required. Each session begins with a group warm-up, followed by athletes participating in the event or events scheduled for the day; 60-metre runs are an example. In summer, there are eight competition days, listed on MyClub and the competition calendar. Parents assist in running the evening by serving as officials, measuring results and managing field-event tasks like raking the sand pit.
