Bouge en Rose is a road race in Poitiers, France, associated with Octobre Rose, the French Pink October campaign for breast cancer awareness. It is intentionally straightforward: a 2 km loop within a city park, where participants can run or walk and stop after any number of laps. Registration is 3 euros, and the event is open to all, including men.
The focus is less on racing a set distance and more on encouraging collective movement for a cause. Participants are invited to wear pink, and the funds raised benefit the Ligue contre le cancer du sein, the League Against Breast Cancer. Its short loop allows families, newcomers, walkers, and regular runners to share the same course without pressure.
