Courir a carignan 2026

Courir à Carignan is a village race day in Carignan-de-Bordeaux, held on the first Sunday of September as part of the back-to-school season. It offers runners and walkers several ways to participate: a 19 km trail, a 10 km trail, a 9 km walk, and a family race for parents and children. The start area includes guided warm-ups and muscle-awakening sessions before the races begin. The routes are designed around Carignan-de-Bordeaux and its lesser-known areas, with the 10 km and 19 km trail races incorporating additional path sections. The 9 km walk follows the initial part of the longer route towards Bouliac, pauses for refreshments at the Foyer Jean Rivière, and is shorter yet more technical than a casual stroll. The day is intended for local families, walkers, trail runners, and first-time participants, and the event has also supported local causes, including donations to P’tit Dom for educational projects for autistic children and to Familles Extraordinaires.
