Courir pour leurs rêves - La Ferrière-Béchet 2026

Courir pour leurs rêves is a charity running and walking event held at the Salle des fêtes in La Ferrière-Béchet, Orne, Normandy. It generates funds for seriously ill children via the association 1 Geste - 1 Rêve - 1 Sourire. Donations are accepted along with race entries. The morning schedule features a 9.3 km road race with rankings, and 8.5 km and 14 km nature runs without rankings or awards. Participants can also choose 6 km or 9.3 km road walks, or 8.5 km or 14 km forest walks. The event welcomes licensed and non-licensed runners, with running races open to participants from cadet age. The 9.3 km road race offers prizes for the top three men and women overall, and the first cadet boy and girl. The nature runs forgo rankings for a more relaxed atmosphere. Bibs can be collected on the day at the village hall. On-site amenities include parking, restrooms, refreshments, and food options like homemade burgers, paninis, sausage with fries, and crepes. Bicycles and other personal devices are prohibited. because of the hilly terrain, wheelchair athletes cannot participate for safety reasons.
