Course la bas la Laïta is a trail race in Guidel, on the Morbihan coast of Brittany, with the start and finish at Guidel-Plages. It takes place in early July and offers two distance options: 9 km with 89 m of elevation gain, or 18 km with 212 m of elevation gain. Both races are predominantly off-road, with approximately 90% of the route on trails. The longer race begins at 9:30 AM, the shorter one at 9:45 AM, and both have an entry fee of 8 euros.
The 9 km route begins near the shops at Guidel-Plages, starts with a 4 km loop with sea views, then enters woods and follows the Laïta river before concluding at the marina. The 18 km route shares the initial coastal section, then ventures further into the woods around Guidel, reaches the Laïta opposite the Toulfôen forest, and returns along the river to the same marina finish. Support includes one aid station at km 4 for the 9 km race, and stations at km 4 and km 10 for the 18 km race, with finish-line support for all participants. Bib collection is available on-site on race day.
