The EDF Aqua Challenge Nice 10 km is an individual open-water swim in the Baie de Nice, beginning at 8:00 a.m. as the second stage of the EDF Aqua Challenge. It is open to swimmers aged 14 to 99, including FFN-licensed athletes, international license holders, para-swimmers, triathletes, diving federation members, and non-licensed open-water fans.
The course is a double crossing of the Baie des Anges, so swimmers cover the Olympic marathon-swim distance in open sea rather than repeating a short lap. Neoprene wetsuits are permitted, entries are capped and handled first come, first served, and the event offers early pricing before moving to regular and on-site rates. A post-race pasta party is available for swimmers who register for it.
