About this race
This demanding trail requires serious preparation. It features technical passages and steep ascents and descents, reaching high altitudes up to 2400m at Tourmalet and Pic du Midi de Bigorre. The significant elevation changes will test your calves, but the panoramas will be your reward. Expect a communion with nature in the Pyrenees, crossing the Néouvielle massif, the Bielsa tunnel, and the Cirque de Gavarnie. The Grand Raid des Pyrénées is a journey of self-discovery.
