GF Provence Occitane begins in Cornillon, Gard, leading participants onto roads connecting Provence Occitane, the Gard, and Ardèche. This spring cyclosportive offers four routes with hilly profiles: 50 km, 70 km, 113 km, and 155 km. The event is designed for road cyclists, though gravel is also an option. It serves as an early-season challenge, featuring sufficient climbing to provide a genuine test.
The longer courses traverse Mont Bouquet and the Gorges de l'Ardèche, moving beyond simple vineyard roads and village paths. Cyclists will ride through hilly terrain, vineyards, woodlands, and villages designated as some of France's most beautiful. The event adheres to the GF Series format, providing participant jerseys, bottles, energy products, and well-stocked aid stations, ensuring a supported cycling experience distinct from a basic local event.
