L'Infernal Trail des Vosges - 130 km 2026

L'Infernal Trail des Vosges is a September trail-running event held near Saint-Nabord in France's Vosges region. The 130 km race is part of a series of mountain distances, ranging from short trails to 200 km ultras. This 130 km option covers approximately 132 km with around 6,300 meters of elevation gain, positioning it as a demanding ultra rather than a simple long-distance run. The event also features 100 km, 70 km, 30 km, 15 km, and an 8 km night race, alongside relay and children's races, expanding the weekend beyond a single ultra start. The courses traverse the Vosges Massif, passing over ridges, high pastures, waterfalls, natural lakes, narrow valleys, villages, and historical and archaeological sites. Over 7,000 participants are anticipated across all events, including beginners, children, and seasoned ultra runners. Several races hold ITRA and Index certification. The event is managed entirely by volunteers, with over 650 individuals contributing, a significant number for a race of this size in France.
