La Galop'âge 2026

La Galop'âge is a 40 km trail race in Roquefort, organized by the Collectif des Résidents de la Résidence des Landes. Runners receive a trail event, and their entry fee supports Monalisa, an association working against isolation among older people. The race connects sport with a specific local cause, rather than treating charity as an add-on. It also highlights old age, a part of community life that organizers feel is often undervalued. The event is therefore as much about solidarity with elderly people as it is about covering the course.
