La poyaise - Poix-de-Picardie 2026

La Poyaise is a local running and walking event in Poix-de-Picardie, featuring two road races and two walks. Participants can choose between 5 km or 10 km for running, with identical distances available for walking. Online registration is required for the races, while walks permit on-site sign-ups before the event. All events commence on Place de la République. The walks begin in the early afternoon, followed by the 10 km race, and then the 5 km race. Association la Poyaise has organized the event since 2014, with all profits donated to the League Against Cancer. Approximately 500 participants, around 100 volunteers, and local businesses contribute to the day annually, giving it the feel of a community fundraiser with races rather than a purely competitive gathering.
