Les foulées des Bistrots - Caen 2026

Les Foulées des Bistrots is a short road race through central Caen, Normandy, with a party atmosphere reflected in its name. The typical distance is 7 km, although the course has also been 6 km when construction altered the route. It begins at 8:00 PM from Place Pierre-Bouchard, is open to participants over 18, and is more of a local evening event than a competitive race. The route consists of two loops of approximately 3 km through the city center, passing the Saint-Pierre district, Place Saint-Sauveur, and the theatre before finishing through the Café des Quatrans. Costumes are encouraged, with a parade before the start, awards for the best outfits, and a prize for every finisher. Bars along the course provide entertainment, attracting a mix of club runners, casual runners, ambitious beginners, and those primarily there for the ambiance.
