Les Randos d'Henry begins at the castle esplanade in Fontaine-Henry, Calvados, situated between Caen and Courseulles-sur-Mer. This September weekend event features food walks, mountain bike rides, trail running, and hiking. The main race is an approximately 12 km trail run held early in the evening. This is the event's fourth edition. The trail follows a new path through the Mue valley. The walking routes focus on local food tasting rather than just distance. One 10 km walk offers three tasting stops at unique locations, with chefs present along the way. A night food walk includes a chef-prepared tasting in an unusual spot, enhanced by video mapping, and an open-air concert takes place on the castle esplanade. Participants return to the castle area after the race, where a local producers' market operates in the afternoon. The event also includes a children's mountain bike ride, making it family-friendly.
