About this race
The Mémorun 5 km is a charity run held at Esplanade Saint-Louis in Vincennes, organized by France Alzheimer and related disorders around World Alzheimer’s Day. It is part of a sport-and-solidarity weekend, not solely a race event, featuring a 5K walk, longer running distances, and a short children’s race for ages 6 to 14.
The event focuses on raising funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, with proceeds directed to research and France Alzheimer’s support for patients, families, caregivers, and health professionals. The race village offers a space for discussion about the disease alongside running or walking activities. Three-time Olympic gold medalist Marie-José Pérec participates in starting the races and supporting attendees.
