Randonnée Du Chemin Des Dames is a road cycling randonnée based in Bezannes, starting from the town hall at salle Hélios on rue Source de Muire. Riders select from three marked road circuits of 45 km, 75 km, or 100 km, with a free start window from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A guided 8 km family ride is also offered in Bezannes, beginning at 10:00 AM, ensuring the day is suitable for more than just experienced club cyclists.
The longer routes proceed toward the Aisne department and the Chemin des Dames area, a name linked to First World War fighting from 1914-1918. The climbing is significant for a local randonnée: approximately 400-500 m on the 45 km route, around 800-950 m on the 75 km route, and about 1,250-1,300 m on the 100 km route. The event, organized by Groupe Cyclo Randoneurs Bezannes, is in its 44th edition. Entry fees are low, and registration can be completed online via HelloAsso or in person at the start with cash or check.
