Trail des Orris 2026

Trail des Orris is a November trail race held in Laroque-d'Olmes, a town in the Ariège department of Occitanie, approximately twenty kilometers from Foix. Participants can select between the Tour de Mouillet, approximately 10 to 11 km, and the main Trail des Orris, approximately 19 to 20 km. Both courses commence and conclude in Laroque-d'Olmes, leading participants onto untamed paths, forest tracks, and narrow singletrack within Cathar territory. The race, established in 2014, involves significant elevation gain without being excessively mountainous and features technical sections requiring careful foot placement. The event maintains a local and lighthearted atmosphere, with previous race communications acknowledging trail runners, those seeking a challenge, and even offering onion soup.
