Trail des Rives de l'Indre is a September trail-running event held in La Châtre, located in the Indre department of Centre-Val de Loire. The courses follow the banks of the Indre River and utilize the lanes and paths of the Berry bocage. Runners can choose from 5 km, 13 km, and 24 km distances, suitable for those seeking a brief nature run or a more extended local trail experience.
The weekend includes a nighttime event. La Boucle des Tazons begins in the late afternoon, with participants completing up to ten 7.5 km loops. Each loop features 200 m of elevation gain and must be finished within one hour. A 7.5 km night race with similar climbing is also offered, alongside a children's race named Trail des Bouzous. The event incorporates local wordplay with its "Indre-scriptible" slogan and celebrates its tenth edition, featuring a course that winds through forest, riverbanks, countryside, and sections of the town.
