Trail Pouillenay en Rose is an October trail and walking event held in Pouillenay, a village in Côte-d'Or, Burgundy. The race features short off-road routes instead of road racing. Participants can select a 7 km or 15 km run, or join as a walker. The longer route includes approximately 350 meters of elevation gain, offering a challenge without being overly demanding. This event is organized by the local association Pouillenay en fête and welcomes participants of all skill levels.
The routes traverse the hills above Pouillenay and circle the village, set against a backdrop of vineyards and green countryside. It is part of Octobre rose, France's breast-cancer awareness month, with each entry contributing to breast cancer awareness and support. The participants include runners, walkers, and hikers, with groups coming from nearby towns like Venarey-Les Laumes. Local residents offer encouragement to participants, and the event provides app-based live GPS tracking for real-time following by friends.
