Triathlon de l'Argentine en Piscine is an April triathlon held in Beauvais, Oise, north of Paris. The swim takes place in a pool, not open water. It features short-format racing: the S distance includes 750 meters swimming, 20 kilometers cycling, and 5 kilometers running. The XS distance covers 400 meters, 10 kilometers, and 2.5 kilometers. A youth race offers a 50-meter swim, 1-kilometer bike leg, and 500-meter run, welcoming beginners, younger athletes, and standard short-course triathletes.
The race is organized by Beauvais Triathlon, a club established in Beauvais in 1986. It originated within the Beauvais Olympique Universitaire Club, with backing from the local cycling club and the city. The club later became independent, establishing a notable history in French club competitions. They have secured multiple Grand Prix titles for their men's and women's teams, won Coupe de France titles, and seen their athletes achieve individual French championship victories. This event is part of the club's schedule, which also includes the June Triathlon de Beauvais (L distance) and a November run-and-bike event covering 4, 9, and 18 kilometers.
