The Triathlon du Plan d’Eau du Canada is a lake-based triathlon weekend held in Beauvais, Oise, Hauts-de-France. Taking place in early June, it offers athletes three primary distances: XS, S, and M, alongside youth races and an aquathlon that serves as a qualifier for the French championships. The S distance allows for individual participation, as a relay, or as a team, and the M distance also includes a relay option.
The event begins with a swim in the Plan d’Eau du Canada, followed by a road cycling segment and a run around the lake. The M race, the full standard-distance event, features a 1,500 m swim, a 40 km bike course over three loops, and a 10 km run over two loops, with a limit of 650 participants. The S distance is 750 m for the swim, 26 km for the bike, and 5 km for the run, accommodating 550 athletes. The XS distance is shorter at 300 m, 13 km, and 2.5 km, with 200 places available. This race is a significant part of Beauvais triathlon's history, with this year marking its 40th edition.
