Val’oween trail - Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine 2026

Val'Oween Trail is a Halloween trail event in Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, Isere, based at Stade de la Combe. It typically occurs on the fourth Saturday of October, transitioning from daytime family activities to semi-night and night trail running. The race options are 8 km, 18 km, and 30 km trails, alongside hikes and children's races. The 30 km race is also a stage in the Pays Voironnais Trail Series. The day begins with a children's costume parade. Hikers can start in the afternoon before the running races commence later. Children aged 6 to 15 have dedicated races, while adults can select from a short trail up to the 30 km distance. Costumes, candy, and Halloween scares are integral to the event, distinguishing it from a standard headlamp run in late October. One past edition saw approximately 650 participants across the three main race distances.
