Verticale du petit manaïrou 2026

The Verticale du Petit Manaïrou is a short mountain race in Valdeblore, Alpes-Maritimes, run in early August. It begins in Saint-Dalmas Valdeblore and includes approximately 800 metres of climbing over roughly 4 km. The objective is straightforward: ascend quickly against the clock. The course ascends toward Caïre Gros, a 2,087 m peak in the Mercantour region. The format is a timed vertical kilometer, not an extended trail loop. The adult race welcomes all skill levels, allowing participants to set their own tempo. The event also features children’s courses for ages 3 and up, including a brief 300 m trail with 30 m of elevation gain. Organized by the Club Sportif de Valdeblore, the race offers refreshments at the finish line and meals available via advance online booking.
