Derbyshire Dales Trail Run 2026

The Derbyshire Dales Trail Hike begins and ends at Bakewell Showground in Bakewell, within the Peak District. This charity trail hike offers three distance options: approximately 9k, 15k, or 21k, allowing participants to choose between a shorter countryside walk or a half-marathon-distance outing. The course starts on the Monsal Trail, proceeds along the River Derwent, and offers a distant view of Chatsworth House. It also goes through Edensor before descending and then climbing into Manners Wood, finally returning to Bakewell Showground. Registration is priced from £20 plus a booking fee for the shortest route, increasing to £30 plus a booking fee for the 21k. Proceeds benefit the Sheffield Hospitals Charity.
