Hardy's Stadtlauf Landsberg am Lech

Hardy's Stadtlauf Landsberg am Lech is a road running event in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria, focusing on Hauptplatz and the old town by the Lech river. The Ampermarathon Olching is a spring marathon in Olching, west of Munich, starting at the Amperverband on Josef-Kistler-Weg. The program includes the full 42.195 km marathon, a relay marathon, a 14 km one-third marathon, and a 28 km two-thirds marathon. The course follows the Amper river through the Amperauen from Olching toward Dachau and back. Runners use a GPS-measured loop of 14.065 km, so marathoners run it three times while shorter-distance runners do fewer laps. The route is flat and uses a mix of gravel and asphalt paths through the Amper meadows. The race is organized by runners from the Bürgervereinigung Schwaigfeld in Olching, and spectators are welcome along the course.

MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks

MARATHON MÜNCHEN is Munich’s official city marathon, with the full 42.195 km race run as one loop through the city and back to the Olympic Park. The main race starts on Spiridon-Louis-Ring and finishes at Willi-Daume-Platz, both inside the Olympic Park. The programme also includes a marathon relay, a half marathon, and a 10K, so the weekend works for first-time marathoners, teams of friends, shorter-distance runners, and people chasing a faster effort without committing to the full distance. The marathon route links several of Munich’s best-known places: Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz, the Siegestor, the English Garden, and the Olympic Park finish. The Werksviertel adds a louder, more modern stretch, with music, food spots, and heavy crowd support; it is also the starting area for the 10K at Knödelplatz. The half marathon starts in the Olympic Park, runs into the city center to Sendlinger Tor, and returns to the same Olympic Park finish.
