Berlin hosts 6 Marathon races in 2026 within 80 km of the city centre — upcoming dates, recurring series, and other races nearby, all in one place.

Locals run Tiergarten when they want easy base miles without leaving the city centre. Tempelhofer Feld gives runners big open loops, and the Spree river route gives you 12km when Z2 needs room. Grunewald forest trails can make you forget you are in a capital city, and Teufelsberg adds steep slopes that challenge any runner. On Run Club meets in Mitte on Thursdays, PACE meets in Kreuzberg on Sundays and Thursdays, and Adidas Runners fills most weeks. Berlin Half Marathon, S25 Berlin, Adidas City Runners Night, HYROX Berlin, and the New Year's Eve Run are the anchor targets.

Locals ride because Berlin has about 620 km of bicycle paths and a real bike culture. ADFC runs workshops, tours, and roadside assistance, while RV Berlin 1888, RUNDEDREHEN CYCLINGCLUB, nanobike Rennrad Runde, MAAP LaB Berlin, S3VELO, Avona, and Trek CC organize group rides. Critical Mass starts at Mariannenplatz around 20:00 every last Friday of the month. September gives runners Berliner 10 km Lauf and Halbmarathon Berlin-Reinickendorf, while October points legs toward Müggelsee-Halbmarathon. Summer gets warm and sometimes humid, so locals keep Z2 honest and save intervals for cooler hours.
