Below Solymári Vár, this second-edition run is situated at the edge of the Buda hills, with the race center located under the castle area rather than on an anonymous street corner. It is a trail-style event with varied distances and age groups, where families, beginners, runners over 60, relaxed joggers, and those seeking a harder effort can all share the same start area.
The route combines forest dirt roads with asphalt sections, so expect a change in rhythm underfoot rather than a single smooth surface. Marking is provided by painted arrows, ribbons, and signs, which is helpful when the course becomes more wooded than urban. For the longer routes, a phone and water bottle are required. Finishers receive a medal, and the finish area offers timing, refreshments, bag drop, photos, and warm food.
