At Kánai út 2, this first VITANIKA race opens the spring Eliminator series with a clear youth focus: getting kids sharp again after the long winter break before the first XCO Hungarian Cup round in May. It is not a casual outing, but a compact mountain-bike test of legs, handling, and nerves, shaped by four seasons of running these preparation races.
The format mixes XCE skills work with an XCC short track race, so riders first tackle six different skill obstacles without putting a foot down. Mistakes turn into time penalties, and those results decide the start order for the short track, which runs on a course made harder by artificial and natural obstacles. Kids, parents, club coaches, and curious onlookers are the natural crowd here; the quirk is that skipping the skills section means starting the XCC race from the very back row.
