World Heritage sites and grand river views define the 41st SPAR Budapest Marathon Festival. It is a practical, runner-focused event: a two-day festival where experienced marathoners run alongside beginners, families, solo participants, groups of friends, walkers, and those trying the event for the first time.
The course is designed to showcase Budapest's most scenic areas while offering impressive views, a welcome diversion when fatigue sets in. Saturday features shorter races, walks, city hikes, relays, and family activities; Sunday concentrates on longer distances, including the "queen of distances." Musicians and spectators provide energy from start to finish, with the custom finisher medal and race shirt being part of the tradition.
