Keszthelyi Kilométerek is a running event held in Keszthely, on the shore of Lake Balaton. The races take place within the park of Festetics Castle. The event offers distances ranging from short family runs to a half marathon, including 3 km, 7 km, 14 km, and 21 km options. The 14 km and half marathon races can be completed individually or as relays: a 14 km relay involves two runners, and a 21 km relay involves three. Festetics Castle is a co-organizer, and the park setting imbues the race with a distinct local character. Participants may see individuals in historical costumes, and there are several areas beyond the start line, such as RunnerExpo, KKMGASZTRO, and KKMSHOP. The event is officially named INTERSPORT Keszthelyi Kilométerek, commonly abbreviated as KKM.
