The Fedrid Császta Trail is a trail race held on the hills of Császta-szőlőhegy in Edelény. It offers open views, fresh air, and sufficient climbing to provide a distinctly off-road running experience. The event is structured as a relaxed outdoor day rather than a city-road race, with participants navigating between steep sections and calmer forest paths. The course utilizes the area’s panoramic slopes and shaded woods, meaning the challenge stems from both the climbs and the varied terrain. Families and friends are encouraged to remain after the finish, local wines are featured in the post-race atmosphere, and dogs are permitted, allowing runners to bring a canine companion.
