Szent Margit nyomában

The Katonavárosi Amphitheatre provides Szent Margit nyomában with an authentic old-stone start and finish. The route winds past the Buda Synagogue before proceeding toward Árpád Bridge. This event is more of a city pilgrimage on foot than a closed-road race, and it is part of the Budapest Cup. Participants will pass through Zellő-kút, the Japanese Garden, Szent Mihály Hill, Saint Margaret’s grave, and the ruins of the Franciscan monastery. The return leg goes by Margit Bridge, Germánus Gyula Park, Elvis Presley Park, Zsigmond tér, and Puskás Csizmadia utca. There are no safety marshals along the entire route, requiring participants to remain alert. Starters under 14 must be accompanied by a registered guardian, and entry requires pre-registration.
