About this race
Adamello Ultra-Trail® is a mountain trail-running series held in Vezza d'Oglio, Lombardy, Italy, typically in mid-September. The events range from a short vertical kilometer to long ultra distances. The Adamello Vertical Kilometer covers 3.9 km with approximately 1,000 m of elevation gain. The primary Adamello Ultra-Trail® spans 170 km, featuring 11,500 m of ascent and descent. The series also offers 35 km, 60 km, and 100 km races, catering to participants seeking anything from a steep uphill challenge to a multi-mountain ultra.
The courses traverse the Adamello region within the province of Brescia, incorporating mountain, forest, lake, and natural landscapes. The longer routes are recognized ITRA and UTMB® Index events: the 170 km race awards 6 ITRA points, the 100 km race awards 5, the 60 km race awards 3, and the 35 km race awards 2. Some races utilize distinct start and finish points, creating a journey-like experience rather than a simple loop. The 100 km Adamello Trail and 35 km Adamello Short Trail have each attracted over 100 participants in past editions.
