III^ Overborders Half Marathon Lignano Sabbiadoro - Bibione

The Over Borders Half Marathon is a FIDAL-sanctioned half marathon that connects Lignano Sabbiadoro in Friuli Venezia Giulia with Bibione in Veneto. The current course runs from the Beach Arena to Piazza Fontana, covering the standard 21.097 km distance. Recent editions have taken place in summer or early autumn, making it a coastal race rather than a city-center circuit. The course utilizes the Adriatic setting, passing beaches and pine forests, crossing the Tagliamento river, and concluding in Bibione’s Piazza Fontana. A race village is established near the finish line. The event has attracted competitive Italian and international runners; European champion Daniele Meucci holds the race record at 1:05:52, with Kenya’s Vincent Momanyi finishing second at 1:06:45.
