About this race
The Marathon de Reggio Emilia is a December road race held in Reggio Emilia, located in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region. The event features both a full marathon (42.195 km) and a half marathon (21.0975 km), and is listed on the FIDAL national athletics calendar. Tricolore Sport Marathon organizes the race, with support from the public entities of Reggio Emilia, Quattro Castella, the province, and the region.
The course extends beyond the city center into its surrounding areas, connecting Reggio Emilia with neighboring towns and rural sections. Participants will encounter monuments within and near the city center. The marathon is a World Marathon Majors Qualifier.
