Marcia delle 8 Porte is a 7 km night road race in Assisi, in Italy's Umbria region. It starts at 20:00 from Piazza del Comune, the main square in the old town, and uses a city circuit rather than a point-to-point route. Assisi Runners asd organizes the event, with registration handled through Icron. The route is built around the eight historic gates in Assisi's walls, so the name is literal: runners move through a short urban race tied to the old entrances of the city. The event sits inside the Assisi Runners calendar and has passed eleven editions, with the schedule recently shifting from its usual Saturday slot to Friday. Race packs are limited to the first 300 registered runners, and the pack has included a Runnek Grady jersey in lime and indigo blue made with Elastec fabric.
