About this race
Run the Tuscany Island is a three-day road running stage race across Elba, Capraia, and Pianosa in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, Europe's largest marine park. It takes place in late September and uses a small tour format: 250 athletes can enter the full stage race, with 50 additional daily participants allowed for each stage.
The series is built around moving from island to island rather than repeating one loop on the mainland. Runners race the stages, while a separate walking circuit and non-competitive options make room for people who want the trip without racing hard. ASD Elba Runners organizes the event with D.S. Sport e Adventure. The main appeal is simple: one bib, three Tuscan islands, and a race week that feels as much like travel as sport.
